Can i use a rental car to take a driving test in order to get a license?

you need a license to rent a car...

but if your friend rents the car, and let's you drive it for the test, the deputy registrar won't care, they just check to make sure the car has functioning lights, signals, and is road worthy.

now if you crash it during the test, then the liability is on the renter...Can i use a rental car to take a driving test in order to get a license?
I don't know the law but I don't see why not , just call your local MVD (Motor Vehicle Dept,) and ask.Can i use a rental car to take a driving test in order to get a license?
No, you cant legaly drive a rental car with out a drivers licence but you can use a friends car with their permition.
You can't rent one without a licence. If someone else rents it, and lets you use it for the test, and there is an accident, there will be no insurance. The renter, having allowed an unlicenced driver to operate the vehicle, will receive a bill for the full value of the car.
Not likely. You need a license to rent a car. If someone else rents it for you, and you are under 21, they won't allow you to drive it.
no you have to get a legal license to drive a rental car,so that shoots that idea down, you,ll need a car with legal insurance also, and everything must be working properly on it,or they wont let you take the test, good luck with it.
lol! Yeah, I think, as long as you get the insurance on it, but you need a license to get a rental car. If someone else rents it for you and you check with the DMV ahead of time to make your appointment and double-check exactly what you need you should be fine.
