Ive got 24 hrs to kill in Cleveland. no rental car What to do besides rock-n-roll hall, what areas to avoid?

there really isn't a whole lot. I tried planning a trip there and decided to make it an overnight stop along the route to somewhere else. check out tripadvisor.com for some ideas.Ive got 24 hrs to kill in Cleveland. no rental car What to do besides rock-n-roll hall, what areas to avoid?
i dont know what you are lookin for. There are many places in cleveland to avoid but it depends on what you consider dangerous. There is crime everywhere. but anywhase the flats have a ton of bars but they arent going to be crazy busy on a tuesday night. if you buy an all day bus pas it like $4 you can take the bus or the RTA any where. tower city is a nice shopping mall, you can hit up BW3's tonight for the 35 cent wing night, go down to coventry it's kind of artsy. i dont know if you will be here tomorrow night or how old you are but it's college night at the B-side on coventry. its a cool bar and they play indie rock and underground rap. its safe and upscale. there are the museums of art, natural history, and science which is actually pretty fun. You can rent a jet ski down in the flats. see a movie at one of the 10 movie theaters around and a little outside of cleveland. you can go to cedar point or geauga lake if you like roller coasters. you can try cafe tandor which there is one in cleveland heights and elyria and its rated one of the best indian food places in the country. try dave's cosmic subs on larchmere which is the best! take a walk in the cemetary on mayfield near little italy its actually gorgeous. go down little italy hit up the smoke shop the bakery tons of restaraunts. go to the west side market it opens wednesday at 7am.Ive got 24 hrs to kill in Cleveland. no rental car What to do besides rock-n-roll hall, what areas to avoid?
4 bucks will take you just about anywhere in Cuyahoga county. You can take the bus just about anywhere you'd like. I think the Indians game is sold out but you can try there Omar is returning so that will be something to see.

I don't know what you like, I like Museums so you may want to check out the Natural History Museum or the Western Reserve Historical Center, the Botanical Gardens.

You could go to the Great Lakes Brewery or Treatmont area. Check out Coventry or Legacy Village.

Plenty to do on the bus.

There is ALWAYS something to do in Cleveland. Those that tell you that there isn't haven't taken the time to get to know the city.
i have no idea why people are telling you to go to the flats to party.. most of the bars in the flats are closed.. the place to party in cleveland is in the warehouse district.. west 6th specifically
There are a lot of great festivals in Cleveland this time of year, especially if you are here on a weekend. Check Cleveland Scene magazine online for ideas of concerts and festivals.
house of blues...tons of sweet bands..theyve got upcoming artists and even famous one...im from avon, not too far from cleveland and my brother and his band just got a gig there.

holy crap dont go to the flats...especially at night one word GANGS
The Indians are playing at home tonight. Why don't you go catch a game. You should be able to get bleacher tickets for around $15.
Avoid the Flats
I'd like to help, but you need to be more specific. Who do you have to kill?
The Flats is where bars are for those in their 20's
if your going to kill, i'd choose a cow, they make delicious hamburgers!
the museums are all great. maybe u could go to the ball game? idk.
