Should I buy a 2006 former rental car?

It only has 27K miles, but that's a lot for 1 year.Should I buy a 2006 former rental car?
Typically called a ';Program Car,'; a used rental is usually your best vaule on the lot. Thousands are sold every day nation wide. The car is still under factory warranty and you will pay thousands less than the original retailShould I buy a 2006 former rental car?
yes but rentals usually come in good shape and are properly maintained with new parts
If you plan on keeping the car it's usually a good deal but resale value is pretty poor considering the mileage and the fact they are usually fleet cars with minimal options
i treat every rental i get like crap! why? because its a rental...and i dont think im much different than most. that being said, i wouldnt ever buy a rental...unless i knew where they have been, what they have been thru etc. carfax is definately in order here.

I rented a brand new grand prix once and drove it to from orlando, florida to northern wisconsin, then to cleveland, then back to florida....about 2500 miles in one week....
I wouldn't buy this particular rental car because for a 1-year old vehicle, it has a lot of miles. That probably means a lot of people rented it and probably drove it pretty hard.

A low mileage rental unit, %26lt;12,000 miles in 1-year with warranty and maintenance would be a good buy.
we bought a 2006 chev uplander that was an enterprise rental and it has been perfect.there was still warranty on it and we got a 32,000 dollar van for 20,000 dollars(canadian).the only thing we changed was the factory tires, they weren't worn out but they were bad in the wet.we have put 30,000 miles on it in the last year
Usually they are well maintaned.
