My original paperwork on the car I drove was taken by them? Car was rented using Priceline.com. Can't figure out why they would do this, but I'm concerned I'm being used in a scam of some type.Avis rental car paperwork changed when I returned car. Shows I drove a different car then I rented. WHY?
The agent typically checks your license and rental agreement before they let you out of the gate to see if they match up. Sounds like a simple mistake. I would return the car and get the rental car to match the agreement. If they can't find the car you're driving and it does not show as being rented they could report it stolen.Avis rental car paperwork changed when I returned car. I would address that. looks like a scam and thy cannot have you in a vehicle that you did not drive. what if something happens to that car!!! very bad situation!!! talk to them
It does seem a simple mistake in doing paperwork. Nothing to worry about. Big Companies like Pricelines and AVIS don't do scams.
