Most major rental companies offer unlimited miles. I know that Hertz, Avis, National, and Budget all have unlimited miles at the airport locations, and most do not have any geographic limitations.Is there a rental car place with unlimited miles? if so who? if not what is the cheapest car rental place?
If you rent the car one-way then there will be enough miles to get you from where your going to. That is if it's not unlimited most are.
If its a local rental and you will be bringing the car back to California then tell the person who you book the car with that. And if it isn't unlimited miles contact a different rental place. Enterprise is the only major company I know that almost always charges more for unlimited miles.
Avis,Budget,Hertz,National/Alamo. All seem to have unlimited miles with all car classes except minivans or a Luxury car.
Make sure your insurance covers interstate travel in a rental car.
If its a one way trip, the rental company needs to know, might be an additional charge for that.
