I need a rental car in tampa on August 1 to Aug 5 does anyone know where to find cheapest?

Check with Thrifty/Alamo, Dollar and maybe Enterprise 1st... they are generally the lowest. Then you can check with Hertz, Avis, and National... they tend to be a little more expensive.... but the overall quality of cars and service will be a little better. If there is only a couple dollars difference per day... it might be worth it. Florida's rental car rates are generally reasonable because it's such a tourist destination.

*Remember - when you rent a car you are charged per day based on a 24 hour period... so if you pick up the car at 2pm on whatever day... when you return the car, try to do so by 2pm... if you end up returning the car at 4pm or 5pm instead... the extra hour charges can sometimes be equal to having the car for another whole day.

Have a great trip!I need a rental car in tampa on August 1 to Aug 5 does anyone know where to find cheapest?
All of the rental car companys baseds thier fares on one another, call up anyone and teh price will generally be between 20 and 30 dollars cheaper or expensive, if that means a lot to you you may want to just take the city bus around :)I need a rental car in tampa on August 1 to Aug 5 does anyone know where to find cheapest?
budget car rentals
I have recently reserved a car from Hertz (although it's not until February that I'll be needing it). We'll be getting it from the Tampa Airport; we're also guaranteed that if they don't have a mid-size car available that we'll get a full-size car for the same price (about $22/day with unlimited miles). I think that's a good deal!
really good deals on this website http://www.LouMarTravel.com
